Eva Mendes and How She’s Taking Issues Lightly
Among the most intriguing part of becoming a celebrity is how people and followers are so much into what’s new and who’s dating who. This has become the Hollywood fans way of getting up to date information and access to their favorite stars.
Eva Mendes was no exception to the rule. Eva was rumored to having an affair with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix in the movie “We Own the Night”, Phoenix is also the star in the “Walk the Line” Film. They were apparently seen together after work. Given this issue, Eva Mendes just laughed it all off saying that is but normal for people to eat together in a New York City restaurant after a hard day of work. She exclaimed that that’s what every woman should do and reiterated that she is all grown up. Onlookers reported that Joaquin Phoenix and Eva Mendes looked good together as they were holding hands and dancing together at a Club. However, the actress denied and said they were just friends. Eva is into a long term relationship with her beau and so she immediately slammed down the humors linking her to Joaquin Phoenix.
Along with her other modeling stint, Eva was also recognized as the 4th most desirable women out of 99 in Askmen.com’s latest issue. Nevertheless, given all the title that she has for strutting and having a beautiful body, Eva has still remained her Catholic morals and values intact. It was reported that she had a little anxiety in shooting a love scene in the movie “We Own the Night” and admitted that she had to take some alcohol in order to get through the scene. Funny as it may seem but that was how Eva reacted to that particular scene in the movie.
Eva Mendes used to dream of becoming a nun and coming from a devout Catholic family made her closely aware of her values. This would somehow explain the reactions that she had when they shoot the film. And so, even if she’s so much comfortable showing off her body in photo shoots wearing bikinis, this particular scene has left her a bit worried as she was not use to baring all especially on screen. She laughed at saying she had to take cocktails of vodka and orange juice just to appease her from doing what the director asked her to do. She also admitted that this was her first love scene; her first with rumored boyfriend, Joaquin Phoenix.
She also added that she is very professional when it comes to work and did all her best for every movie she ventured in however, this particular scene made her break her rule as she needed a bit of alcohol to give her the confidence she needed to shoot the steamy love scene with Phoenix.
Eva Mendes has gone a long way from the college girl who tried her luck in the movie industry to the most in demand star of her generation. She has proven her craft both in modeling and acting.
